The S-1 is a high-performance 4-batten wave sail. The reduced number of battens makes this sail lightweight, flexible, and highly responsive. Designed for all types of conditions, this powerful, lightweight sail redefines responsiveness. The S-1 generates more backhand pressure than the Blade, calibrated for vertical moves or aerial tricks.

A thicker head on the latest generation Severne S-1 2025 opens more under load to increase performance, providing higher-end control and extended wind range. The aspect ratio has been reduced on smaller sizes to reduce stiffness. Combined with the thicker head, the area distribution is more pronounced.

The Severne S-1 2025 uses XFusion technology, ultrasonically welding the foot panels and eliminating the need for seams. Lighter, more reactive, and free of seam wear. XFusion is an evolution of the CarbonFusion technology used in PRO sails that has been adapted to more accessible models.

Both the S-1 and the S-1 Pro are developed on the same platform. The PRO construction provides the ultimate experience, while the S-1 replicates dynamic performance in a more accessible build.
