MADE FOR THE FEW - MADE FOR YOU!

FULL CUSTOM D/LAB TECHNOLOGY
CNC shaped using our most high-end layup and entirely handcrafted, identical to high-end custom made boards for an unmatched weight-durability ratio.

CUSTOMIZED
Individual color schemes and a unique serial number make it your personal dream board.

PROVEN & TESTED SHAPES
Proven and tested shapes from the brand with the longest experience in windsurf board design. Just one millimeter or a mismatched fin/mast-track position can turn a magic board into an under-performer. This way, you or a potential second-hand customer know exactly what you are getting.

MADE TO ORDER
All D/LAB CUSTOMIZED boards are made to order. Your board will be scheduled for production AFTER you place your order and will be produced EXCLUSIVELY for you. Therefore, delivery can take up to 18 weeks (depending on when we get a production slot for your board).

BRAND-NEW AND UNIQUE

THE INTRODUCTION OF THE D/LAB BOARDS IN 2024 MARKED THE DAWN OF A NEW ERA. NOW, IN 2026, WE ARE EXCITED TO PRESENT THE BIGGEST UPDATE IN OUR BOARD HISTORY EVER. APART FROM ALL NEW SHAPES, NO STONE WAS LEFT UNTURNED AND WE ARE PROUD TO PRESENT YOU SOME UNPRECEDENTED AND TRULY UNIQUE FEATURES, PROCESSES AND TECHNOLOGIES.

360° R&D

With designer Kai Hopf and our product managers Dani Aeberli and Marco Lang, one and the same team is now responsible for the board, rig and even fin development. This results in an unrivalled board-rig ecosystem in which all DUOTONE products are really matching 100% now.
Besides this perfect match, the other driving force behind our R&D is the relentless push of our wave team around Victor Fernandez and Liam Dunkerbeck for better and better products.

WORLD WIDE WAVE RIDE - DEVELOPED AND TESTED ON MAUI AND EUROPE

From storm-chasing the rugged reef breaks of Ireland to the ground swell of Brittany, Canarias high wind spots, the endless point breaks of Cape Verde, and the powerful beach breaks of Klitmøller and Cape Town, all our wave boards have been tested at these spots. And, of course, they have been pushed to the limits on the legendary North Shore of Maui - truly the ultimate proving ground for any down-the-line board.

SUPERIOR TECHNOLOGY

Unlike the industry-standard semi custom technology, all our boards are now produced in a full custom technology which results in the best weight vs. strength ratio.

AI_BOARD_3D DESIGN SOFTWARE

In contrast to the industry-standard Shape3d program, our own exclusive 3D CAD software is based on math data-driven input. This allows us to cross-check the outcome using artificial intelligence to ensure maximum precision. Apart from being much more accurate and faster, complex 3D design tasks such as our ground-breaking SYNCED CURVES CONCEPT would otherwise have been simply impossible to realize.

CNC SHAPED ONLY

All our boards are CNC shaped now which is not only much more accurate, but opens more decisive advantages compared to the traditional mould construction method which allows us to implement new shapes at any time.

PRODUCTION FOCUSED DEVELOPMENT

Every single prototype is made in our exclusive factory using the exact same process and materials as the production boards. This way, each prototype has exactly the same weight and flex and therefore feels identical to the board you get.

PRODUCT DETAILS

Going beyond your imagination. A production freeride board being build like a high end slalom race board? Yes, you heard right, cause there is nothing alike than the EAGLE D/LAB CUSTOMIZED!

With the EAGLE and the brand-new BLITZ we offer 2 boards for the freeride >< freerace segment covering everything from learning to plane up to being the fastest sailor at your spot. Now imagine to combine this with the same high-end FULL CUSTOM D/LAB construction being used for the FALCON_FIN and there you have it: the EAGLE and BLITZ D/LAB CUSTOMIZED are the stiffest, lightest and earliest planing boards in their class. In fact they are over a kilo lighter than other comparable boards.

EAGLE or BLITZ - which one is the right freeride >< freerace board for you?

Where you come from >< Where it will take you

1) EAGLE: IT’S ALL ABOUT PLANING

  • Where you come from: you had your first Windsurfing experience and are capable of staying upwind. There is no other board which will help you to experience the gliding/planing sensation in such a short time than the EAGLE.
  • Where it will take you: besides getting planing, jibing is the second strength of the EAGLE. But it’s not just made for learning to (power)jibe but will even accompany you up to freerace blasting and laydown jibing

2) BLITZ: MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE WITH MINIMUM EFFORT

  • Where you come from: you are comfortable of sailing in the foot straps then the BLITZ is your performance machine.
  • Where it will take you: the BLITZ will instantly make you a faster sailor. Since it’s also very easy to jibe it will be your partner from your first power jibes up to pro level laydown race jibes. Partnered with a high performance fin and a freerace sail you might even become the fastest guy at your spot with the BLITZ, whilst still maintaining the comfort of a freeride board.

The EAGLE was designed with the following objectives:

> Super early (passive) planing

> Automatic/instinctive jibing

> Maximum wind range and control even in choppy conditions

This makes the EAGLE the perfect intermediate to advanced board which will accompany you from your first planing attempts all the way through to blasting and laydown jibing.

To achieve these characteristics the team around Dani Aeberli (Product Manager Boards) have developed the VOLUME YET CONTROL CONCEPT:

  • The slightly longer and therefore less curved outline allows us to increase the volume by up to 30 litres compared to short-curved boards (e.g. Fanatic Gecko or Tabou Rocket) without any loss of control.
  • The extra volume though results in a much more confident, predictable and relaxed riding position especially in underpowered or sub-planing conditions.

>> This leads to an unbeatable, broad range of use.

The slightly longer and therefore less curved outline also offers 2 additional important advantages:

1) It prevents the board from turning unnecessarily into the wind which lets the Eagle get onto a plane almost automatically

2) It prevents the board from bouncing around even in rough chop which becomes an issue with wide-curved boards

The maneuver-oriented rail shape allows for an effortlessness and predictable jibing behavior as the thin rails require less pressure to initiate the turn. This is ideal for jibing novices or to increase your lay-down jibing success rate.

Yet even for an advanced sailor the EAGLE is anything but a boring board to sail. It almost feels like a longer version of the BLITZ since it shares a very similar scoop-rocker line.

Finally, the EAGLE D/LAB CUSTOMIZED can be ordered with a Single or Twinser fin box setup.

  • Single fin setup: this presents the ideal compromise between performance and maneuverability. Also with a single fin, you'll be on the water in no time.
  • Twinser fin setup: this is THE solution for any shallow water spot. Also the Twinser setup improves the maneuverability even further.

YOUR NEW EAGLE D/LAB CUSTOMIZED DREAM MACHINES ARE READY AND WAITING FOR YOU TO GO BEYOND IMAGINATION!
