One of the most frequently asked questions from freerace customers about the 2026 range is why we discontinued the JAG SLS.

On one hand, the brand-new BLITZ offers even more performance compared to its predecessor, the BLAST. But even more importantly, the new generation of FALCON_FIN boards is much easier to sail. In fact, they do not require a higher skill level than the JAG.

We achieved this mainly through a sophisticated new rail shape design. The apex of the rail in front of the front straps has been raised, which has a tremendous effect on riding comfort, making everything much smoother.

Secondly, we reduced the overall length, which reduces nose lift and therefore increases control.

Yet, due to the golden rule “control = speed”, these boards are now even faster, something that becomes particularly noticeable when compared to the JAG.

Finally, the SLS technology comes into play. Most carbon layers of the D/LAB version have been replaced by our exclusive S-GLASS+, making the FALCON_FIN SLS much smoother and more forgiving in rough conditions. Unless you are a top-level competitor, this slightly more forgiving construction will actually make you a faster sailor.

Switching from industry-standard semi-custom construction to our exclusive FULL CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY allowed us to reduce the weight by up to 250 grams, offering the best weight-to-durability ratio in its class.

The curves of the key elements — rocker, outline and rail — are synchronized using artificial intelligence so they do not work against each other, pushing performance to a whole new level.
