Shape

Nose Sidebase Uplift:
Low. The gradual sidebase uplift in the nose affects how the board behaves on snow, especially in edge-to-edge performance and float when riding powder.

Tail Sidebase Uplift:
Low. The gradual sidebase uplift in the tail influences how the board performs, improving versatility and powder performance thanks to Triple Base Technology.

Camber Profile

Medium Camber:
Camber profiles range from low to high. Higher camber provides more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to achieve maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother at lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. Higher is not always better.

3D Shape

3BT™ & Sidekick™:
Combining the responsiveness of traditional tip-to-tail camber with the dynamic shaping properties of Triple Base Technology and the performance-boosting Sidekick feature, this creates a 3D snowboarding experience like no other.

Features & Technology

At the core of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. This innovative solution minimizes edge-catch potential without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element based on the board’s desired riding style.

3D Shaping:
SideKick™ builds on Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips take on a hull-like shape, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Construction

Supertubes™:
Hollow carbon cylinders inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight, and significantly increase pop. By varying their placement, we can fine-tune the board’s performance.

Glassing
Tri-Ax Lamination:
A light, strong, and highly responsive triaxial fiberglass weave. We use it to reinforce the flex pattern in our more aggressive boards.

Woodcore
Ultra Light Core:
A blend of 70/30 paulownia and poplar, offering an excellent strength-to-weight ratio.

Base
Ultra Glide S:
A premium 7000-grade sintered base reserved for our high-end models. By packing more molecules into the P-tex, it’s incredibly durable and fast.

Sidewalls
Flex Walls:
Urethane-poured sidewalls that offer exceptional shock absorption, reducing chatter and providing a smoother, more stable ride. Flex Walls provide flexibility and resilience, ensuring the board maintains its integrity in extreme conditions, with superior impact resistance to ensure optimal performance season after season.

Inserts

28 Inserts:
High-quality German stainless steel inserts ensure your bindings stay firmly attached to the board. These durable inserts can withstand years of binding stance adjustments.

+2 Backseat Inserts:
Additional inserts placed 4 cm behind the main inserts. This allows you to set your bindings further back, ideal for keeping you afloat on deep powder days. Shifting your weight further back helps keep the nose up and reduces pressure on your back leg.

Reinforcements & Laminate

Carbon Stringers:
Our tried and tested carbon layups are deployed in different areas to fine-tune the feel and response of each model.

D.S.T. SuperTubes:
Dual Super Tubes, one on each side of the board, enhance pop and give the camber more snap.

Top Laminate
Aramid X-Ply:
Exclusive to our Plus Series, Aramid X-Ply provides full perimeter 3D reinforcement, delivering exceptional torsional stability and improved damping.
