In addition to the new features, the RRD Global Bar Y30 is still equipped with special lines called “Rigid Thread Lines.” These have been used exclusively on RRD bars with great success for over 13 years. A product widely tested around the world, yet little is known among kiteboarders about the details of its uniqueness. A pro rider will choose our rigid thread lines over any flying lines on the market. They simply DO NOT STRETCH!

All our lines are produced and developed in Italy, with a worldwide patent granted only to RRD. The Rigid Thread Lines are the result of a collaboration with an Italian manufacturing company with over fifty years of experience in processing lines and ropes, using the latest innovative exotic fibers combined with deep knowledge of the physical and mechanical properties of Dyneema.

The PU tube protecting the power rope has been enlarged to 12 mm for increased durability and smoother movement.
