Design

The ORIGIN’s design has been optimized to deliver maximum lightness and comfort.

Thanks to staggered seams, the fabric and its panels work together more efficiently to maintain a smooth and efficient profile, reducing deformation under load. Profile control is ideal, ensuring total stability and comfort while riding.

Small radial cuts on the wingtips and on the back of the strut help spread tensions evenly. Aligning the fibers precisely along the load paths allows stretch to be controlled to an unprecedented level for a wing.

Located at the back of the strut, the refined Load Diffuser—made of overlapping hard Mylar and Dacron panels—helps maintain a sleek and efficient profile, resulting in ultimate stability, performance, and longevity.

The strut and the two central leading-edge segments on each side are made from HITEX 158g, a high-tenacity polyester offering excellent resistance to elongation for enhanced durability and performance. The remaining leading-edge segments are built with 150g Dacron to ensure lightness and comfort.

The ORIGIN’s canopy is constructed using 52g TECHNOFORCE™/D2, while a thicker 66g TECHNOFORCE™/D2 is used on the trailing edge. These materials are perfectly distributed to handle the varying tensions, pressures, and weight distribution across the wing.

The central strut is completely straight, allowing better control of deformation and twist while reducing drag. As a result, the infill is slightly lower, deforms less, and extends almost all the way to the back.

Combining outstanding stability with effortless maneuverability, the ORIGIN is a versatile wing perfectly suited for rapid progression and unlimited fun on the water.
