By trading thickness for added length, these latest MIDLENGTH boards deliver improved balance and superior glide in light winds. The enhanced volume distribution—especially in the nose—brings greater stability, while the more rounded front bottom improves glide, leading to smoother take-offs and touchdowns.

A slightly wider tail preserves stability, while the slim outline and parallel rails promote glide and speed during take-off. The step on the bottom near the tail creates a clean water release, channeling flow efficiently without generating excessive drag while riding. The removal of the central step on the bottom, previously located in front of the twin-tracks, makes the board compatible with Foil Drive systems.

The overall redesign reduces volume across all sizes compared to the first generation. For example, the former 5’10 MIDLENGTH is now equivalent to a 6’2 in the new range, offering 95 L instead of the previous 120 L for a comparable size.

While the new MIDLENGTH continues to excel in light winds, many riders will appreciate it across a wide range of conditions. Thanks to its reduced width, the board never feels bulky, and carving and turning become much easier. Advanced riders can also use these boards as SUPs for agile wave riding or short-period downwinders.
