Featuring a narrower width (17” to 20”), the ROCKET SUP DW PRO is aimed at riders seeking maximum performance in their downwind adventures. Available in seven sizes, with volumes ranging from 90L to 140L, this board delivers outstanding glide and impressive performance with smaller, faster foils.

While its new shape mirrors that of the latest ROCKET SUP DW, the PRO version is narrower, sacrificing some accessibility in favor of increased speed and glide, making it the ideal choice for experienced downwind riders.

These boards are very stable thanks to ideal volume distribution, a parallel outline, and boxy rails through the central section. At the same time, they offer significantly more glide, making paddling and take-offs much easier. With a slightly revised nose and bottom shape, the ROCKET SUP DW PRO is also more forgiving during the take-off phase.

A pronounced kicktail allows riders to pump the board without plunging the tail into the water at every stroke. A second small step has been added on the hull closer to the tail, in addition to the one already present in front of the twin tracks. These two steps effectively reduce drag during take-off accelerations and touchdowns. The second step creates a clean release to channel water flow at the back without generating excessive drag while riding, and also helps limit speed loss during occasional touchdowns.

Once on foil, the ROCKET SUP DW PRO is extremely intuitive, stable, and comfortable thanks to its ease of pumping and turning. The subtly recessed, cockpit-style deck is now slightly more pronounced, packing additional volume at the front and back and bringing you closer to the foil for excellent in-flight control.

The ROCKET SUP DW PRO is ideal for short- to medium-period bumps (such as Mediterranean conditions), while the ROCKET SUP DW COMP performs better in longer-period swells (such as O’ahu), which are faster and require a longer and even narrower board.

The ROCKET SUP DW PRO is also outstanding with a wing in lighter winds, and it surfs extremely well, even in very small waves. Take off far outside on non-breaking waves and make the most of the board’s maneuverability and direct feel to surf all the way to the shore break.

The ROCKET SUP DW PRO is available in two constructions: bamboo or carbon. This model benefits from an ultra-light Bamboo Deck Construction, using a layer of bamboo only on the deck to keep the board as light as possible while ensuring strength and durability. The foil feel is super direct, and control remains absolute throughout the entire downwind, even at high speeds.

Naturally, the bamboo version is slightly less stiff than its carbon counterpart, particularly when pumping, but the overall performance potential on the water remains very close, as both boards share the same shape and program.

A double rail saver, along with reinforced construction along the rails and around the cockpit area, protects the board from impacts and paddle strikes.

FULL BAMBOO CONSTRUCTION
